Jane Brown

Owner of Brown Electric Co., Inc. Jane started off with an Associate’s Degree from Champlain College.  Jane completed many courses from Electrical Safety Technician to Chemical Information Management. Jane started working for IBM as a computer operator. She was in Networking for many years, keeping the networks for the manufacturing lines up or with the least downtime possible.  She was a specialist in fiber optic handling. Jane has chosen to lead major facilities projects and interdepartmental teams. She also handled vendor relationships. Today she handles accounts payable/receivables and any tasks needing attention.

Leon Brown

Leon Brown has been in the electrical trade since 1977.  He holds master electrical licenses in both Vermont and New Hampshire and also holds a Fire Alarm T.Q.P. license for the state of Vermont. Leon's expresses working at IBM, tooling fab fit-up and various areas within IBM construction trade, working for other electrical contractors. Leon proceeded to work as a call firefighter with a local City and becoming a professional career firefighter, fire prevention officer, fire alarm system specialist, and EMT with a local fire department. Leon believed it was time to form Brown Electric and was founded the Company in 1986. Leon has built Brown Electric into a company with a regional reputation of outstanding electrical work and superior customer service. As such, Brown Electric maintains electrical service contract accounts with several of the region's major supermarkets store chains for the past 20 years, throughout the State of Vermont. Leon’s expertise and guidance with Brown Electric offers a wide range of electrical services, electrical construction, and being a Certified Danfoss Control Contractor and full electrical contractor and maintenance services.

Mike Millette

Mike started with Brown Electric in early 2011. He has been in the electrical trade since 1986. He gained the Journeyman license in 1993. Mike has worked in several parts of the electrical industry including serving as Safety Officer and Tooling Electrical Contractor Supervisor at IBM for approximately 15 consecutive years. Mike presents himself as a well-rounded Service Tech. He has held positions of Service Manager, Project Manager, General Foreman & Foreman to some very large projects. Mike has knowledge of residential, commercial and industrial wiring. He also has trained with fire alarm and control wiring. He currently manages the day to day operations and is a senior project manager/estimator for small and large projects.

David Polgroszek

David's electrical experience began in trade school in 2005 where he took Electrical Construction and Maintenance.  He joined or team in early 2010.  David is a licensed journeyman electrician and certified to install and service Danfoss Controls Building Automation Systems.  He has a vast knowledge of control wiring and programming.  David has a great amount of experience in the residential, commercial and industrial fields and takes extreme pride in the quality of his work.

William (Bill) Millington

Bill started working at Ticonderoga paper mill in 1989 as an Electrician. His background there was installing Rigid conduit, cable tray, VFD’s, Motor, PLC’s, Motor control Centers and more. Bill worked there until 1999 when the company lost the contract working there. In 1999, Bill went to work for another company and started working in IBM installing electrical to specialty tooling and a variety of power fit-ups in various areas though-out IBM. When the economy and work became slow, Bill went out on the outside of IBM where he installed Fire alarm systems for Champlain College, UVM and Middlebury College. Bill also supervised many commercial jobs around the Burlington area and Middlebury. Around 2016, Bill returned to IBM were he installed numerous specialty tooling and variety of power fit-ups in various areas though-out IBM for PC Construction Team Members. Recently, Bill Millington became employed by Brown Electric Co. Inc.  Bill is a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
